I deleted what i posted. Instead of posting nonsensical stuffs like what's happening in school, i guess i'd share something i saw just now with you guys. While waiting for my bus to tuition, i saw the two lower primary kids with their mom. The older brother started talking about something happening to the swing, the mom understood, the younger brother didn't. So, the brother asked, '' where is the swing? ''. The older brother merely replied, '' playground''. Duh everyone know swings are located at playgrounds. The younger kid wanna know where the playground is at. So he kept asking and asking, and the older brother ignored him, he got more and more agitated upon being ignored, the mommy stepped in and sided with the older brother. I watched on, they boarded the same bus as me, in the bus, the younger brother never gave up asking. The mother found him irritating and stopped him from asking anymore, telling him it doesn't matter where it's at. He still didn't gave up, the mom continued ranting at him, finally, he gave up and slumped into his seat, sulking. I wondered why the mom couldn't be more patient with her own kid. He's just curious about stuffs, asking things he's unsure about. Why just couldn't she take some time to answer his question. A simple happening made me thought alot. For the whole bus trip i was thinking, hey that looked like me when i was young. I always had to depend on myself. Whenever i got into a fight with my brother, mommy always sided brother. She used to tell us that when we got into a fight, don't retaliate, and we won't be at fault. Whenever brother started a fight, i told mommy, mommy didn't care. I listened, i didn't retaliate, but nothing was done to get me out of the fight, she never stepped in to say anything. I grew up to understand they don't keep their words. I learnt to take things into my own hands, he fought me, i fought back. It's either a win or lose. Everytime he'd go crying, everytime i didn't cared, i know i did right. That was perhaps why my relationship with mommy is strained, she never once sided me. Till today, i can't talk to her without getting into a quarrel. And perhaps, i've already given up trying. |
