I just slept my whole afternoon away, until my auntie neighbour came barging into my house and started talking so loudly and high-pitched that i had to wake up. Even hiding under my pillow doesn't work, i had to crawl so far on my bed just to get the pillow and in the end doesn't work. Are we supposed to act the way we have been brought up or the way God had made us? Society made us to only think of ourselves and our future. To be competing in every aspect of life, be it studies or work. Its only natural that we lose ourselves in this process. Its every man for himself. God made us to think and care for others, to love everyone like siblings. But i don't think its the case now, empathy is lost in the fight for survival. How can we love each other when we are fighting against each other. We can't be both at the same time, its totally contradicting. I'm in a total dilemma on which side of me i should act as. I've tried acting how God made me, and neglected my studies to be a better friend and person, you say i failed you guys and i was an ingrate. I then change to be how society made me to be and you said i was without empathy and wasn't thinking for you guys. Tell me, what should i do now. Tell me what i should be. I'm lost.
